I am Kalki Part 1 Formation of Kalki

I am Kalki Part 1 Formation of Kalki is the first of all stories that I have written. It speaks on how life changes for a boy who visits his maternal cottage. And the story does not end just like that. The story goes ahead, and thus tells about how vicious destiny is, and how remarkable the hero named Kalki will be. This is my masterpiece as how I see it, and here is an excerpt from the story.

Daniel opened his eyes slowly and looked at Leena. He looked at her up and down, and then asked her to sit down besides him. As she sat, he caught her hand and said in a trembling voice, “You…you really look like your mother. The same eyes, same nose, same everything. No difference…except for the hair, she had straight brown hair….not curly.”
She didn’t say anything. He looked up to the opposite wall and continued, “My mistake. I didn’t ask to my father to bring her back home. I didn’t think of calling her to my house, no…our house. I wanted all this wealth….for what? For drinking, sleeping with amateur girls, and….. Everything I did for nothing. And now here I am…on the bed. Facing the dreadful pain of death for the sins I had committed. I deserve more…I do.” He wept, but tears didn’t flow out of his dry eyes.
Leena couldn’t speak a word. Daniel looked at her and asked, “You aren’t angry to me, are you?”
“For what should I be?” asked Leena. Daniel turned his head and answered, “For I had driven your mother from her house. For you had no place to leave even when I was there as your uncle. She died because of me. Oh my Lord! Forgive me child, for my sin.”
Leena caught his hand tightly and said, “Do not worry about it…uncle! I am not mad at you. My mother had always respected you. She always loved you…and remembered you till last breathe.”
“My oh my! So cruel I was to her…and she still loved me…I am cursed my lord…I am cursed.” Tears flowed out of his eyes this time, which he couldn’t wipe off. Leena wiped them off, but Daniel turned his head. He gathered his strength and asked “Do you know why I called you here?”
She shook her head, indicating ‘no’. Daniel then looked at Johnny and John, and then said, “I would like to be introduced to them.”
“Oh, I am sorry!” regretted Leena. Calling both of them closer, she introduced, “This is Johnny, my fiancĂ©. He is a lawyer in New York. And this is John, my brother.”
“You have a younger brother!” exclaimed Daniel. “But I had heard that Sally had given birth only to one child. Then how come…?”
It was Johnny to reply, “Leena’s mom had adopted John long time ago. Ever since then, he had been staying with her.”
“Is it so…?” asked Daniel. He stared at John again and asked, “But it like…I have seen him before. Boy…have you been here before?”
John looked at Daniel, wandering what he was talking about. Then he shook his head. Daniel then looked on the ceiling and said, “May be someone like you. I had traveled almost round the world, and this face must have come across among the thousands I had met.” Again, John looked at him doubtfully.
Daniel took a deep breathe and continued, “My time is nearing. I believe that I have not done anything for you and anyone. This is the only thing that is left with me, this cottage. I am wishing to pass it over to you child. This is for you, it always belonged to you. At least, I can rest in peace after doing this.” Then he looked at Jacob and said, “Boy! Show her the papers. Let she get it signed. I have already signed in it.”
Jacob took out the papers from his black brief case and called Leena close to him. Johnny and Antony watched closer on what was they talking about, while John, who seemed to get bored, was looking here and there, and Daniel called him and said, “Little master! Sit besides me.”
John smiled and sat near him. Daniel said, “Brown eyes, brown long hair. The thick eye brows connected above the bridge of the nose. And about 16 years old. You are someone who I know so much but I just can’t remember who. This is the problem of old age. Have you ever seen anyone at death bed before, boy?”
John replied, “Yes. Mom… I had seen her on the death bed. It is so petty to lie down there.” Daniel laughed and said, “Yes, it is petty. But when we lie here…we feel pettier. So what did you say your name was?”
John brought a smile to his face and replied, “It is John. My name is John.”
The smile on Daniel's face faded as he heard it. “I doubted so. And it is really you, John!” His voice was trembling, and he was shivering. His eyes had almost bulged out with some kind of fear. Next minute he caught on John’s hand tightly. As he started to panic, Daniel screamed loudly, “Do you know who you are, boy?”
